The brand Tiroler Kräuterhof stands for a way of living which is quintessentially based on natural products. It all started at a market: A herb farmer presented his goods and sparked Gerhard Hammerle’s love for natural cosmetics. Fascinated by the natural and local ingredients, one of the world’s most natural skincare line was developed.

Over 200 products are manufactured and sold in the shop „Tiroler Kräuterhof“ in Maurach, such as essential oils, creams, lotions, detox water and the summiteers tea. All products contain the finest natural herbs from North and South Tirol, activated water and native organic oils. Plus: All products are free of artificial glycerin, emulsifiers and fragrances, colorants and preservatives. The products are certified by “Austria Bio Garantie” – Austria’s leading inspection body for organic products which is one of the strictest certifications for natural cosmetics worldwide.

Achensee natural soap – Palm oil free with 100% natural essential oils
The Achensee natural soap was inspired by the characteristics of Lake Achensee. Lemongrass and lavender represent the gentle and fresh breeze of Lake Achensee, and Atlas cedar stands for the mountains.

In contrast to industrially manufactures soaps, natural soap does not dry out the skin but leaves it naturally hydrated. The gentle effect of natural soaps comes from the artisan preparation according to old traditions where soaps are made the cold process way. This guarantees a particularly gentle production, but also requires the soap to mature for several weeks. This process takes its time, during which the soaps develop their full power.

In addition to Tiroler Steinöl® (shale oil), Tiroler Kräuterhof is another manufacturer of nature-inspired products in the Achensee region. A range of products of Tiroler Kräuterhof are also available at the Atoll Achensee SHOP.
