Cool summer programme for teens and kids

Kinderprogramm - Unterwegs mit Biene Liene - Wasseraction

Tirol’s largest lake offers a huge range of activities and excursions for the whole family to enjoy – especially in summer. From 28 June to 4 September 2021, the Achensee holiday region offers a versatile children’s and youth programme which is guaranteed to make your holidays a memorable experience for the whole family.

Children’s programme
From climbing with Kraxel Kris to games, fun and action with bee Liene to pony riding and an Indian festival with Paul Gaul – there are plenty of adventures for children at Lake Achensee. And the parents can enjoy some well-deserved me-time while their children explore the region under the supervision of professional childcarers. Three times per week, the programme includes activities for the whole family: Every Monday evening, there is the night walk under the stars. When darkness has fallen, the lights on the shoreline and the stars in the sky will be sparkling. The night scouting game on Wednesday is great fun for fantasy enthusiasts: Find the sorcerer, free the forest fairy and become heroes of the night! On Thursday, it’s all about hen Hanna who wants to spend the summer on the mountain pasture together with her friends, but the farmer won’t let her. If you help Hen Hanna, you will be rewarded with a delicious lunch and a wonderful mountain panorama. The full-day children’s programme is available from 29 June to 4 September 2020. Participation is free for children between the ages of 4 and 10, except for a contribution of EUR 7 for food and drinks. The family pasture day is EUR 10 per adult (without drinks).

Youth programme
Youngsters between the ages of 10 and 16 can tackle some real challenges at Lake Achensee in summer. From 29 June to 4 September 2020 the region’s youth programme provides a daily adrenaline rush for young explorers and gives them the chance to enjoy action-packed fun under the supervision of experienced guides. The main focus is on water sports: stand-up paddle boarding (SUP) on the turquoise waters of the lake, tube-riding on the river and  white-water swimming in the region’s most beautiful gorges. New in this summer: an afternoon of canoeing on the western shore of Lake Achensee where you discover hidden places, find your balance, or just chill out. Or how about rock climbing, a discovery tour on the Segway or horse riding? Participation fees are EUR 25 – 40 per person and are inclusive of the required equipment. Pre-booking is required.
