Gramai Hochleger
Situated in a beautiful basin between the Sonnjoch and the Hahnkampl, the Gramaialm Hochleger is a popular rest place for hikers on the way to the Sonnjoch. On the beautiful plateau where cows graze in the summer, you can admire beautiful plant species such as the alpine rock thyme or the Carduus personata, whose purple flowers attract bumblebees and bees. High above the mountain pasture, you can see Alpine choughs performing their spectacular aerial manoeuvres, and when you unpack your snack, they come close and try to steal your meal.
