Pertisau - Gern Alm - Montscheinspitze - Pertisau

From the toll booth at the entrance to the Karwendel valleys walk to the “Gern Alm” mountain hut. From here walk to the “Plumsjochspitze”, then descend to the “Montscheinsenke” and eventually take the steep path which crosses the side of the ridge to the summit. From there continue to the “Schleimssattel” and a steep, winding path finally takes you back to the “Gerntal”. Sure-footedness and a good head for heights are essential for this hike! This hike is also possible in the reverse direction.
