Summer in Pertisau

One of Emperor Maximilian’s preferred hunting grounds was Pertisau and many aristocrats and artists were inspired by this idyllic town. During a stroll through the inviting town centre or along the lake promenade, there are many references to its successful history as being a place for a summer holiday. With innovations, such as the oldest golf club in Tirol for instance, Pertisau is successfully continuing down this path today.
The main landing stage for the Achensee boat trip is situated in Pertisau. Since 1887 steamboats have connected the towns of Achenkirch, Maurach and Pertisau. Windsurfer’s colourful sails and sports such as tennis, running and Nordic Walking are some of the activities on the agenda in this holiday town.
