Nearly 1.600 participants are expected at the mass start on Austria‘s loveliest panorama trail, among them numerous stars from the international running scene.
It all kicks off on Sunday 4th September 2016 at 10.00 a.m. below the car park for the Karwendel cable car in Pertisau.

Incidentally, the best runners will cover this 23.2 kilometre, demanding cross-country route in one hour and 15 to 20 minutes. Every year the relay race for two runners is especially exciting; it has been offered as an additional event since 2009.

The fitness run covering 10 kilometres and the children’s run covering 0.5 to 2.5 kilometres take place on Saturday. The runs start at 5.30 p.m. and 4.30 p.m. at Fischergut in Pertisau, where the prize ceremony is held from 7.00 p.m.

Training camp

If you want to warm up for the event you can sign up for the “Achensee running opening” training camp from 4th to 7th May 2017, which includes health checks and expert care for ideal preparation.
