In addition to our traditional Christmas markets, the Museum Christmas is an annual established event.
The Achensee Museum World in Maurach is a popular excursion, which is no surprise: The spacious museum showcases a “Traktoreum” with 80 vintage tractors and many objects related to local traditions and the daily life of people in the Achental’s past. Each year on 8 December, which is a public holiday in Tirol, the Achensee Museum World becomes the venue for the Museum Christmas. Visitors can expect market stalls selling mulled wine and regional delicacies, and traditional music and singing provide a festive atmosphere.
