Bus trip to the natural wonder "Großer Ahornboden" weekly on Wednesdays from 15 June until 12 October 2022.
The village Eng lies nestled between the cragged rocks of the Karwendel mountains, just next to the natural wonder “Großer Ahornboden” with over 2,000 maple trees.
For centuries, the valley floor has been used as pastureland. Around 500 cows graze in summer on the Große Ahornboden. At the Engalm, Tirol’s oldest mountain hut with a thousand-year history, the milk is processed into butter and cheese. Watch the cheesemakers at work and enjoy a wonderful day in this unique mountain scenery. The excursion can be combined with a hiking tour to the Binsalm mountain hut.
The bus runs weekly on Wednesdays from 15 June until 12 October 2022.
