The Sports and Vitality Park Achensee entices visitors with a new summer event: On Friday, 10th August 2018 the event Chill & Jump #achensee will transform the waterfront of Tirol’s largest lake into an event area with a varied programme.

A spectacular cliff diving show featuring Red Bull cliff diver Alain Khol and acrobatic performances by freerunners from the 4 Elements Academy from Tirol will turn the lakefront promenade into a vibrant event area. The “Junge Achenseer” will provide food and drinks, and chill-out sound will create a relaxed atmosphere.

Friday, 10th August 2018

  • 6.00 p.m. Start of the event with chill-out sound
  • 7.00 p.m. Cliff divers & freerunners
    The best cliff divers from France, Switzerland, Germany and Luxemburg present somersaults, twists and handstands. Divers jump alone, in pairs, in a threesome or all together – a spectacular show on the 14-metre high viewing platform.
  • 9.00 p.m. Night show of the cliff divers with spectacular final jumps and freerunners

Admission free! Chill & Jump will take place only in good weather.

In the area around the viewing platform vistors are well catered for with food and drinks provided by the “Junge Achenseer”.

Parking spaces are available along the lakefront promenade, at the Karwendel cable car, and nearby at the Achensee Shipping Company.

 

Lakefront promenade & viewing platform

The new lakefront promenade and viewing platform have been opened with a ceremony in 2015, also with cliff diver Alan Khol. With a height of 14 metres and an immersion depth of 4 metres the viewing platform is ideal for high diving. Visitors can take in the view from the elevated swimming pier and take a refreshing plunge into the lake. The promenade has been restructured up to the jetty. Various shops and cafes invite to a leisurely stroll along the lake.
