Silent Christmas at Lake Achensee

A  boat cruise under the stars on Lake Achensee featuring stories about the Silent Night and Ludwig Rainer. On board, the mouth-watering scent of cinnamon and baked apples permeates the air. Festive Christmas music fills the air. The ship departs and passengers get comfortable with mulled wine, punch and cinnamon-flavoured Christmas cappuccino.

The “Silent Night Ship” connects the jetties of Pertisau, Scholastika and Achenseehof in Achenkirch. Franz Lückemeyer, who tells the stories of Silent Night and Ludwig Rainer, accompanies the journey over the lake. On board, traditional sounds and Christmas delights from the ship’s kitchen put passengers in the mood for the festive season. Those looking for even more Christmas spirit can combine the contemplative break with attending a Silent Night Mass in the festively decorated Achenseehof Chapel.
