The snowshoeing camp at Lake Achensee complements your winter experience and offers participants the opportunity to learn the basics on being safe in the open terrain. The 2-day camp occurs on 05/06 March 2022 and is run by state-certified mountain and ski guides. The time is divided between theory and hands-on practical sessions, teaching participants the proper behaviour in the mountains and the requisite skills, such as tour planning, how to deal with avalanches, assessing potential risks and choosing the right equipment.

Participants will stay overnight at Hotel Bergland in Pertisau. The first day will be rounded off with a convivial group dinner, followed by an informative lecture about equipment, alpine dangers and avalanche awareness. On the second day, the group will be breaking trail and put their skills to the test in the breathtaking wintry landscape of the Achensee region.
