Services also include a sophisticated guidance system with extensive signage and handy maps of cross-country trails, an interactive map with detailed route information for all cross-country routes on and a weather and cross-country trail information service – look below.
Each of the five holiday towns is known far beyond the borders of Tirol for its special cross-country skiing offer.

Extensive additional range on offer

In Pertisau there is a practice slope for all those who are standing on narrow cross-country skis for the first time. Here the correct cross-country stride can be learned very relaxed. Six cross country schools in the region offer support. The local authorities have also made every effort to provide barrier-free slopes over many years. In the meantime the communities of Pertisau, Maurach and Achenkirch provide specially designed cross-country routes for wheelchair users. Achensee also has its own slope for dogs, where dogs can accompany their owners unimpeded.
