The long distance cycle route Munich-Venice is 560 km long and runs from Munich via Lake Achensee to the Adriatic Sea. The route stands for cycling pleasure through five experience worlds.
The Munich-Venice route leads from Munich past Lake Achensee, via the Inn Cycle Path in Wiesing to the Adriatic Sea and the lagoon city Venice. The bike path is well signposted in both northern and southern direction and therefore easy to navigate.
The route covers a total of 560km in distance and 3,000 metres elevation gain on existing cycling paths. In the first characteristic experience world which covers also the stage at Lake Achensee, the “water element” is a constant companion. Further experience worlds are “Tirol’s treasure trove” with the cities Hall and Innsbruck, the “Alpine-Mediterranean lifestyle” with cities like Sterzing and Brixen, the “UNESCO World Natural Heritage Dolomites” and the “Gardens of Venice & Art Cities”.
Along the route many guesthouses and accommodation providers invite for a stay. In addition many cultural highlights can be found in the idyllic country regions.
