ITINERARY
Friday, 01 March
- Until 17.00 Arrival and check in at Hotel Bergland in Pertisau
- 17.30 Meet and greet, distribution of test equipment
- 18.30 Group dinner at the hotel and tour planning for Saturday
- 20.00 Basics of modern risk management and application of assessment methods
Theory session: Rescue of comrades in an avalanche
Saturday, 02 March
- 08.00 Group breakfast
- 09.30 Snowshoeing tour into the Karwendel mountains
- Approx. 12.30 Stopover
- 13.30 Introduction to the handling of emergency equipment (avalanche transceiver, shovel and probe)
Emergency avalanche exercise - Approx.16.30 Return to the hotel
- Time for relaxation & wellness at the hotel
- 18.30 Group dinner at the hotel and tour planning for Sunday
- 20.00 Theory session: Snow and avalanche awareness: Alpine dangers
Sunday, 03 March
- 08.00 Group breakfast and check out at the hotel
- 09.30 Snowshoeing tour: practice your skills, especially behaviour in open terrain
- Approx. 15.00 Return to the hotel and return of equipment
- Individual departure
Participants will receive the detailed schedule and packing list by email before the camp. The schedule is subject to change due to weather conditions.

2 overnight stay at the 3*** Hotel Bergland in Pertisau incl. half board and small wellness offer, course with state-certified mountain and ski guides, rental equipment: snowshoes, telescopic poles, Ortovox avalanche transceiver, shovel & probe
Provisions (snacks, drinks) during the tours, cost for meals/drinks at mountain huts, drinks at the hotel
Equipment (winter hiking boots, 30 litre backpack, snowshoes & telescopic poles with basket), appropriate clothing (weather appropriate clothes, insulation jacket, functional underwear, cap, gloves, spare clothes, sun glasses, sunscreen), Emergency
have the physical condition for 200 hm/hour, be able to walk safely on red hiking trails in summer
