Achensee Climbing Camp
Are you new to rock climbing or looking to sharpen your existing skills? Professional mountain guides assist you in developing the correct techniques and essential knowledge for rock climbing.
ITINERARY
Thursday, 06 JUNE
- Until 13.00 Arrival and check in at Hotel Klingler in Maurach
- 13.30 Meet and greet, dividing participants into groups
- 14.00 Departure to the crag Achenseehof
- 18.30 Group dinner
- 20.30 Lecture “proper equipment & planning” and distribution of test material
Friday 07 JUNE
- 07.30 Group breakfast
- 08.30 Rock climbing, technique course (finger grips, climbing, footwork), rope management, belay technique, tips & tricks for the proper behaviour in the mountains, tour planning
- 16.30 Yoga session tailored for climber
- 18.30 Group dinner
Saturday, 08 JUNE
- 07.30 Group breakfast
- 08.30 Rock climbing, technique course (finger grips, climbing, footwork), rope management, belay technique, tips & tricks for the proper behavior in the mountains, tour planning
- 18.30 Group dinner
Sunday, 09 JUNE
- 07.30 Group breakfast
- 08.30 Putting theory into practice during multi-pitch routes or in the crag, depending on skill level
- Approx. 14.00 return to the hotel and individual departure
Participants will receive the detailed schedule and packing list by email before the camp. The schedule is subject to change due to weather conditions.

Condition for one hour hiking (300m of elevation change) with backpack.
