Opening times autumn
The days are getting shorter and autumn has settled in. It’s low season in the Achensee holiday region but that does not mean that everything is closed. Tirol’s largest lake offers many highlights for visitors that are open year-round. Treat yourself to a relaxing getaway and enjoy the region surrounding Lake Achensee with all the rich gold and red colours of the season.
Around the lake
Running enthusiasts will find 23 running routes which can be combined at will. Lake Achensee also offers a multitude of options for extended walks directly by the lake and to beautiful viewpoints. Various restaurants are open year-round and invite to stop by for refreshments.
Autumn hikes in the Rofan and Karwendel mountains
Hiking season is not over yet – the crisp mountain air beckons hikers to the trails of the Rofan and Karwendel mountains before the first snow. Several mountain huts are still open and invite to bask in the mild autumn sun.
